It was an active day two at the 2019 NFL Draft for the Seattle Seahawks. They started by trading down from pick #37 to 47, where they would select Utah free safety Marquise Blair. With Earl Thomas gone, Blair figures to be in the running to replace him, and he will have a lot to live up too. He certainly hits like a Legion of Boom member, though!
Seattle then traded up from 77th overall to 64th, closing out round two by drafting Ole Miss wide receiver and noted physical freak D.K. Metcalf. Unfortunately, while Seattle gets a WR early to help boost depth, it might be because Doug Baldwin’s career is in jeopardy.
