Finally, the long offseason is over.

OK, it’s not really over. There are still a few hours between now and when the Seahawks kick off their 2015 regulars season against the St. Louis Rams. But we’re so close to watching Seattle play meaningful football for the first time since their heartbreaking Super Bowl XLIX loss seven months ago.

And what a seven months it’s been.

Between the blockbuster trade for New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham in March, the highly controversial selection of Michigan defensive end Frank Clark with their top draft pick in May, and the seemingly endless stream of contract talks for Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner, Michael Bennett and now Kam Chancellor, there’s hardly been a moment when the Seahawks weren’t in the news.
