Seahawks Beat Steelers 39-30 In Game With Five 4th Quarter Lead Changes

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 39-30 in a shootout. It was Week 12's best game, featuring five lead changes in the fourth quarter alone. Here's everything you need to know from Seattle's 39-30 win.

Notes:

Russell Wilson had what was easily his best game of the season. He completed 21 of 30 passes for 345 yards and 5 TDs. He torched the Steelers' secondary and played wonderfully. Three of those scores went to WR Doug Baldwin.

Jimmy Graham tore his patellar tendon during the game. His season is over and he'll need surgery. It's a tough loss for the Seahawks, who don't have a weapon of Graham's caliber.

The Steelers had little success running the football. Pittsburgh racked up just 58 yards on 14 carries. They scored twice on the ground, but RB DeAngelo Williams had just eight carries for 29 yards.

Markus Wheaton had 16 catches for 273 yards and a score this season. He nearly eclipsed those numbers against Seattle. Wheaton had a career day, catching nine passes for 201 yards and a TD.

Quotes:

"That was a lot of fun. It can't get any more fun." - Wilson.

"It's kind of an unorthodox way to play and win the football game, but that's what we had to do today." - Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll.

"We were going to take what they gave us. Obviously we had some success throwing the football." - Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.

Observations:

It's the first time in Wilson's career that he's won a game when the other team scored more than 25 points. Wilson had a monster game and he deserves credit for this win.

Roethlisberger left the game let to undergo concussion protocol. He took a hit to the head and stayed in the game, before leaving after the game was essentially over. Landry Jones was 1 of 4 with two picks with Big Ben out. It'd be a surprise if he missed next week's game.
