FINAL Seattle Seahawks 53-Man Roster Projection

With Seattle Seahawks Training Camp nearly over and the deadline for roster cuts less than a week away, it’s time for a look at the final Seahawks 53-man roster projection. The 2020 Roster cut deadline is September 5th at 4p ET. There will be some Seahawks roster moves made after the cut deadline, but that’s when Seattle will have to make all its roster cuts. Practice squad additions will begin soon after that.

The Seahawks 2020 roster has some major battles at key positions when it comes to figuring out who makes the team. Now injuries and suspensions will eliminate some options, but even with the extra practice squad spots (16 total), there might be too many options (a good issue to have). There are some key players who might be placed on some type of injury list, like Rashaad Penny, Darrell Taylor and Colby Parkinson.

Seahawks training camp battles to watch include WR, DE, OL and CB. The Seahawks will have a 53-man roster in 2020, with the option to promote 2 players from the new 16-man practice squad for each game. So it’s not really a 55-man roster for the Seahawks in 2020.
