The woman who accused Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch of both assault and property damage now faces her own set of charges in return.

Per Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times, 31-year-old Jammie Lynn Ficarelli was charged Thursday in King County District Court with making a false statement to a public servant."

Lynch was reportedly in a completely different place at the time of the incident. Ficarelli is said to have believed that she interacted with Lynch, even though the man in question repeatedly told her that he wasn't Marshawn Lynch.

Ficarelli told the authorities that the man never actually indentified himself as Marshawn Lynch, but that “she knew it was him because she is a football fan.”

As Florio reports, it is relatively unlikely that Ficarelli will land in jail, unless she has a prior record. Regardless, Lynch seems to be fully cleared of any actual wrongdoing on the night in question.
