3 Reasons Why The Seahawks Will Beat The Packers In Week 2

The Seattle Seahawks were upset by the Rams in their season opener, and would love nothing more than to get things back on track in Green Bay against the Packers. Here are three reasons why they'll win on Sunday night:

3) Tyler Lockett: The X-Factor

Lockett, a third round pick out of Kansas State, already looks like one of the best returners in the NFL. He's been electric on punts and kickoffs in the preseason, and returned the first punt he saw on Sunday for a touchdown. If he can routinely give the Seahawks great field position, they'll be in control of this one from the start.

2) Russell Wilson's steady leadership

Russell Wilson's athleticism and on-field decision making are fantastic enough. However, it's his unflappable confidence and beyond-his-years veteran presence which puts this team over the top. There's no quarterback in this league who goes about his business quite like Russell Wilson does, and that uniqueness is essential to what this whole Seahawks operation is all about.

1) Marshawn Lynch's dominance

Lynch was unstoppable against the Packers last year in the playoffs, rushing for 157 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. He was also their most effective player against the Rams, but only ran the ball 18 times. If Seattle wants to beat the Packers, they need to control the clock and dominate the running game, which Lynch will allow them to do.
