IOWA CITY, Iowa (CBS2/FOX28) — After a Facebook post written by an Iowa football player about his interaction with police went viral, the Iowa City Police Department has released body camera video from the incident.

Faith Ekakitie wrote that he was mistaken for a robbery suspect after the First American bank on Highway 1 was robbed last Wednesday. Ekakitie said on Facebook that he was stopped because he fit the description of the suspect, but didn't hear officers initially, so their guns were drawn.

He wrote that he was playing "Pokemon Go" in a public park when he was surrounded by police and searched at gunpoint.
