Tacoma uses a five-run, two-out rally to power past Reno 10-6 in PCL baseball

RENO, Nev. — A five-run rally with two outs in the seventh inning powered the Tacoma Rainiers to a 10-6 victory over Reno in Pacific Coast League baseball Monday night.

The Rainiers (51-44) were trailing the Aces (46-49) 6-2 heading into the seventh. Zach Vincej led off with a double, but the next two Tacoma batters struck out. Gordon Beckham then singled and two walks resulted in a run. After that, Andrew Alpin and Adam Law had run-scoring singles and Seth Mejias-Brean drove home two with a single.

Beckham and Alpin each had three of Tacoma’s 15 hits while Law, Mejias-Brean and Daniel Vogelbach each had two hits.
