RENO, Nev. — The Tacoma Rainiers scored early and often, rolling to a 13-3 victory over the Reno Aces in a Pacific Coast League game Tuesday night.
The Rainiers took a 3-0 lead in the first, then doubled their advantage on Stefen Romero’s three-run homer in the second.
D.J. Peterson hit a three-run homer for Tacoma in the eighth inning.
Rainiers starter Jordan Pries (1-1) threw six scoreless innings and struck out eight.

The Everett AquaSox took a 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Eugene Emeralds rallied for the victory.
