Having a few games off for the All-Star Break allows the mind some time to wander. And as a Mariner fan, it doesn’t take long for the mind to wander to the good ol’ days. Or, as we call them, the ol’ days.
Remember when the Mariners had Félix Hernández? Remember when he was the best pitcher on the planet? Remember when they also had one of the worst lineups in MLB history? At the same time?
It was bad. We all remember it was bad. But, even still, I was surprised it was this bad.
