After that absolutely atrocious showing in Detroit, the Mariners head to Pittsburgh to face a Pirates ballclub that’s lost 10 in a row. There’s an unstoppable force and immovable object joke somewhere in all of this but I’m too lazy to make it. At least the pitching matchup on Friday should be a fantastic battle between two elite pitchers.
