NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — A semi-truck carrying chicken nuggets caught on fire early Tuesday morning.
Metro Dispatch got the call around 1:45 a.m. and crews went to the scene on James Robertson Parkway. When they arrived, they found the truck engulfed in flames. FOX 17 was on the scene and our crews say the smell of burned chicken nuggets filled the air.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but had trouble getting the trailer out of the road because the tires melted. The driver didn't get hurt and Investigators believe the fire started because of a mechanical issue.
