Seattle Mariners to compete against fans in virtual MLB The Show tournament

Seattle Mariners players will be putting their gaming skills to the test against fans.

Second baseman Dee Gordon, first baseman Daniel Vogelbach and prized outfield prospect Julio Rodriguez are among the handful of Mariners squaring off against fans in a virtual ‘MLB The Show 20’ tournament.

The video game competition, which begins Tuesday, will be live streamed through Twitch at Twitch.tv/Mariners.

The tournament features a field of 16 fans, with each one pitted against a Mariners player in the first round. The players participating: Taijuan Walker, Tim Lopes, Carl Edwards Jr., Dan Altavilla, Shed Long, Art Warren, J.
