Seattle Mariners re-sign pitcher Kendall Graveman to one-year contract

The Seattle Mariners have re-signed pitcher Kendall Graveman to a one-year contract, the club announced Thursday.

The Ms on Wednesday declined Graveman’s club option for 2021, but had done so with the intention of restructuring a new contract for next season, per the team.

Graveman’s restructured deal includes a base salary less than the $3.5 million he would’ve made had his option been picked up, according to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times, but he can make more than that due to the performances bonuses and incentives in the contract.

Graveman, 29, went 1-3 with a 5.
