Seattle Mariners manager Scott Servais won't be with the team Friday and Saturday for their games with the Tigers in Detroit.
Servais is going to see his daughter receive her master's degree from Ole Miss.
Manny Acta will act as manager in Servais' absence.
Servais is expected to be back in time for the series finale at Comerica Park on Sunday.
