Scheiner Walks it Off in 4–3 Mariners Win

PEORIA, Ariz. — The Mariners defeated the Milwaukee Brewers by a 4–3 score on a walk-off home run off the bat of Jake Scheiner. It was the Mariners first walk-off victory of the spring.

Mariners starter Robbie Ray tossed 5.1 innings in his final start of the spring, allowing three earned runs on seven hits, walking one and striking out six. Ray, who was named the Mariners 2022 Opening Day starter by manager Scott Servais, faced off against Milwaukee right-hander Corbin Burnes tonight in a matchup of the reigning Cy Young Award winners.
