Rob Brantly’s two-run HR propels Rainiers to win

TACOMA — Rob Brantly hit a two-home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Tacoma Rainiers to a 3-2 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Saturday afternoon at Cheney Stadium.

The Rainiers were trailing 2-1 when Brantly hit his third home run of the season.

Casey Coleman picked up the win, pitching two innings of hitless relief while striking out four and walking none.

Blake Parker pitched a perfect ninth inning for his seventh save of the season. Ed Lucas drove in Tacoma’s other run.
