The Mariners have acquired right-handed reliever Nick Vincent from San Diego for a player to be named later, securing the final piece of their bullpen.
The club announced the move Wednesday morning. Afterward, general manager Jerry Dipoto told reporters that the 29-year-old Vincent will join a bullpen that also includes Joel Peralta, Steve Cishek, Joaquin Benoit, Vidal Nuno and Mike Montgomery.
"The seven that I just named, that's our bullpen," Dipoto said, according to Shannon Drayer.
Vincent, has made 161 relief appearances over four seasons with San Diego, posting a 2.63 ERA and a 9-1 record with one save and 161 strikeouts.
