Midshipman’s Log, July 31st: Misiewicz misieoves, McKinney makes his case, Travs take an L

We had nearly a full slate of games yesterday, with only West Virginia taking the day off. THe games stretched from mid-morning to late in the night. We start, as usual, in the Caribbean!

DSL Mariners (20-29) scuttled by DSL Pirates (42-8), win 10-4

That’s not a typo, the DSL Pirates are the true power in these waters. With their 3 and 4 hitters running >1.000 OPS’s, the Pirates have clobbered their way through the schedule thus far, and took it to the DSL M’s pitching staff. Slight-framed speedster Jonatan Clase continued his quest to be put on the prospect map with a couple hits, including a triple.
