PHOENIX -- Mitch Haniger (Meetch) returned to the site of his MLB debut on Friday night, and the Mariners outfielder quickly made himself feel at home.
Haniger contributed to a four-run third inning, then hit a leadoff home run in the fifth off Zack Godley (Bull) in the series opener against the D-backs at Chase Field.
After Haniger led off the game with a single, he singled again in the third and later scoring on a Jean Segura (El Mambo) single.
