SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
- Matt Andriese, RHP, cleared waivers and elected free agency.
The Mariners 40-man Major League roster remains at 39 players.
Andriese, 32, appeared in 8 games with the Mariners this season, posting a 2.45 ERA (3 ER, 11.0 IP) with 2 walks and 12 strikeouts. He appeared in 26 games with the Red Sox this season, going 2–3 with a 6.03 ERA (25 ER, 37.1 IP) with 11 walks and 38 strikeouts.
