According to multiple reports via MLB.com, the Houston Astros have emerged as a legitimate threat to land Suárez ahead of the MLB trade deadline. With the Mariners, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets and other teams already circling, this latest development could quickly become the Mariners’ worst-case scenario. Because as it turns out, not only is Suárez still very much available — he could very well be launching homers against the Mariners inside Daikin Park.
