Here is this week’s Mariners’ winter league report. It checks in with players participating in the Arizona Fall League, the Caribbean Leagues in Venezuela, Mexico and the Dominican Republic and the Australian League.
Of note: First baseman/third baseman D.J. Peterson and left-hander David Rollins have been selected to participate in the Arizona Fall League Fall-star game on Saturday, Nov. 7. The game will be televised on MLB Network at 5 p.m.
Dario Pizzano has also joined the AFL and replaced Tyler O’Neill, who is representing Canada in the Premier 12 tournament in Japan.
