The Mariners agreed to terms with the active hits leader in Major League Baseball on Wednesday morning. By early afternoon, he was on stage at the Peoria Sports Complex, along with Mariners general manager Jerry Dipoto, manager Scott Servais, his interpreter Allen Turner and his representation John Boggs.
