Two competitors from then Mariners Pitch, Hit & Run Team Championship last week have qualified for the National Finals of MLB’s skills competition.
Ten year old Trevor Cogley, and 14 year old Haley Loffer, both from Hayden, in North Idaho, will travel to Cincinnati, host of the 2015 MLB All-Star Game. The competition will be on field at Great American Ball Park on Monday, July 13 prior to the Home Run Derby.
Haley, who competed in the 13-14 Year Old Girls division, went to the National Finals in 2013 when the competition was at Citi Field in New York.
