RHP Ljay Newsome placed on 10-day Injured List
SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto today announced the following roster moves:
· RHP JT Chargois selected from AAA Tacoma.
· RHP Ljay Newsome placed on 10-day Injured List (right elbow inflammation)
Chargois (#36) will be in uniform and available for today’s game at Texas.
Chargois (SHA-gwah), 30, had his contract selected and has been added to the Mariners 40-man roster. The Mariners Major League, 40-man, roster is now full.
