KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today the following roster moves:
· Brian O’Keefe (#64), C, selected from Triple-A Tacoma.
· Tom Murphy, C, placed on 10-day Injured List (left thumb sprain, retroactive to Aug. 14).
The Mariners Major League, 40-man roster is now full at 40 players.
O’Keefe, 30, has appeared in 86 games with the Rainiers this season, batting .240 (80x333) with 59 runs, 24 doubles, 22 home runs, 65 RBI and 42 walks.
