ARLINGTON, Texas — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Paul Sewald, RHP, returns to active roster.
· Yohan Ramirez, RHP, optioned to Triple-A Tacoma (post-game Aug. 15)
The Mariners active, 26-man, roster remains full at 26.
Sewald, 31, was placed on the paternity list on August 12. He is 7–3 with 4 saves and a 2.84 ERA (12 ER, 38.0 IP) with 12 walks and 64 strikeouts in 37 relief appearances this season.
