Mariners reportedly ink Korean slugger Lee

The Mariners have reportedly agreed to terms with Dae Ho Lee, a 33-year-old slugger with experience in both the Korea Baseball Organization and Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball. Lee played the past two seasons for SoftBank in Japan, and he hit .282 with 31 home runs in 141 games in 2015.

The Mariners have not commented on the report, which originated with Korean writer and commentator Min Hook-ki, who reported that Lee had agreed to a one-year deal worth $4 million with the Mariners. Lee's Korean agency, Montis Sports Management Group, said an announcement may be forthcoming on Thursday.
