Mariners reportedly acquire Gordon

The Mariners acquired second baseman Dee Gordon from the Marlins on Thursday, according to MLB Network Insider Ken Rosenthal. Neither club has confirmed the report.

Per Jim Bowden of Sirius XM, Gordon is planned to play center field in Seattle while Robinson Cano likely continues to man second base.

Gordon led the National League in steals last season with 60 while hitting .308/.341/.375. The Marlins return for Gordon is not yet known, though it likely represents the team's first big move under new CEO Derek Jeter.
