SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Donovan Walton, INF, recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.
· Mitch Haniger, OF, placed on Injured List.
Seattle’s Major League, 40-man, roster is now at 39 players.
Walton, 27, is batting .381 (8x21) with 4 runs, 1 double, 1 triple, 1 RBI, 1 stolen base and 4 walks in 5 games with the Rainiers this season. In 2021, he appeared in 24 games with Seattle, batting .206 (13x63) with 6 runs, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, 7 RBI, 1 stolen base and 4 walks.
