BOSTON, Mass. — Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Dan Altavilla, RHP, recalled from AA Arkansas.
· Parker Markel, RHP, selected from AAA Tacoma.
· Félix Hernández, RHP, placed on the 10-day Injured List with a right shoulder strain.
· Braden Bishop, OF, optioned to AAA Tacoma (post-game 5/11).
Altavilla (#53) and Markel (#37) will be in uniform and available for today’s (10:05 am PT) game against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The Mariners Major League, 40-man, roster is now full at 40 players.
