Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Ross Detwiler, LHP, outrighted to AAA Tacoma.
· Zach Vincej, INF, outrighted to AAA Tacoma.
Detwiler, 32, was designated for assignment by Seattle on Wednesday (Aug. 22). He made his Mariners debut in a 3–2 loss to Houston on Aug. 21 and was charged with the loss after allowing 3 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2 in 6.0 innings of relief. He was selected from AAA Tacoma by the Mariners prior to the game on Aug.
