SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster move:
- José Marmolejos, INF/OF, outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma.
Marmolejos, 28, was designated for assignment on Sept. 14. He was selected from Triple-A Tacoma on Aug. 30 and appeared in 10 games during his most-recent stint with the club, batting .222 (6x27) with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 1 home run and 3 RBI. He was previously part of the Mariners Opening Day roster and remained with the Major League club until he was designated for assignment on May 20 and outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma on May 23.
