· Justus Sheffield, LHP, optioned to Triple-A Tacoma (post-game May 1).
· Donovan Walton, INF, optioned to Triple-A Tacoma (post-game May 1).
Seattle’s active Major League roster is now set at 26 players.
Sheffield, 25, has appeared in 4 games out of the Mariners bullpen this season, going 0–0 with a 0.00 ERA (0 ER, 4.2 IP) with just 1 hit allowed, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts.
The left-hander appeared in 21 games (15 starts) with Seattle and 5 games (2 starts) with Tacoma in 2021.
