The Mariners have signed on as founding members of the Washington Employers for Racial Equity, a new coalition of corporate leaders across the state committed to listening, learning, partnering and adapting to build an equitable future for all.
To begin, the coalition will work to achieve parity in hiring, pay, and promotion for Black Washingtonians, support Black-owned businesses, and invest a combined $2 billion over five years to support racial equity.
