Entering the 2021 awards season, the Mariners once again have a pair of infielders in contention for Rawlings Gold Glove Awards. Seattle was one of five teams with multiple Gold Glove winners in 2020, with J.P. Crawford (shortstop) and Evan White (first base) each taking home the first Gold Glove Awards of their careers.
In 2021, Seattle is in the mix at shortstop and first base once again. Crawford is a strong candidate to repeat at shortstop, while Ty France, replacing an injured Evan White, is one of the leading candidates for the first base award.
