Tuesday night’s game featured a matchup between Gerrit Cole (5-6, 2.99 ERA) and James Paxton (3-4, 4.18 ERA). Paxton was looking to build on a great outing at Toronto last week where he struck out nine and gave up only one run en route to a 2-1 victory.
