For having gotten swept in the desert to fall under .500 for the first time since mid-April on Wednesday, the Mariners have responded with basically the best two games they could to revive some enthusiasm for the team. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for them to pull off a sweep of their own.
Before we get to the lineups, I have a couple charts. The first is one I mentioned on yesterday’s Meet at the Mitt, showing that Williamson has adjusted to his chase problem (for now) and is being rewarded with better results (for now).
