This afternoon, the Mariners will turn to George Kirby in their effort to avoid their second-straight sweep. Through his first three starts since being activated, Kirby has looked like a guy who missed Spring Training, but each outing has gotten progressively better, so maybe today’s the day he returns to form.
The Angels will counter with old friend Tyler Anderson. He’s having a pretty classic Tyler Anderson season, by which I mean he’s been below average at basically everything but terrible at basically nothing.
