It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man might have to play baseball at some point this evening.
The Mariners will potentially play the White Sox tonight at Rate Field in Chicago. The game looked like an impossibility yesterday, but the forecast has improved a bit to where some baseball could happen at some point for some length of time. It’s unclear whether the game will start on schedule or at all. The National Weather Service says “all severe hazards will be possible,” although it’s implied the worst of the storm will hit further south than Rate Field.
