After the abbreviated homestand, the Mariners are back on the road. Tonight they face off against the Texas Rangers for the second time this year. The last time these clubs met the M’s swept Rangers at T-Mobile Park. Repeating that feat in this three game set would go a long way towards securing the season series against the Rangers. The M’s are also hunting down their 8th straight series victory, a feat they haven’t accomplished since 2022. That torrid stretch also included a 14 game winning streak, as readers of this site will likely remember.
