Felix Hernandez has lopped off his wiry blonde goatee, it appears. The goatee and his new-look blond hair turned Twitter into a fashion advice feed during spring training, as everyone and their cousin had an opinion on the King’s new crown.
Even Felix’s teammates chimed in. “It’s bad,” Nelson Cruz said after seeing the platinum look for the first time.
“It’s not good. I’m not a fan of it,” Taijuan Walker added.
But alas, the ‘national nightmare is over’ as baseball writer Meg Rowley stated on Twitter.
