Well, after weeks of speculation, Daniel Vogelbach’s time has come.

Mariners announce they have DFA'd Daniel Vogelbach.

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anybody - with Vogey slashing just .094/.250/.226 while coming off a brutal second half in 2019 and offering near-zero positional flexibility, the writing has been on the wall for some time now. Still, though, it’s hard not to feel at least a little melancholic.
