NEW YORK, N.Y. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today the following roster moves:
· Eduardo Salazar, RHP, claimed off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers.
· Sammy Peralta, LHP, designated for assignment.
The Mariners Major League, 40-man roster remains full at 40 players.
Salazar, 26, will report to Triple-A Tacoma. In 7 starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City in the Dodgers organization this season, the right-hander is 1–2 with a 5.61 ERA (21 ER, 33.2 IP) with 12 walks and 21 strikeouts.
