Mariners Claim OF Cameron Perkins Off Waivers from Philadelphia

Mariners General Manager Jerry Dipoto announced today from the MLB Winter Meetings that the club has claimed outfielder Cameron Perkins off waivers from Philadelphia.

Seattle’s Major League (40-man) roster is now at 37 players.

Perkins, 27, made his Major League debut with Philadelphia in 2017. After being selected by the Phillies on June 20, he appeared in 42 games, batting .182 (16x88) with 9 runs, 5 doubles, 1 home run and 8 RBI. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound outfielder began the season with AAA Lehigh Valley, where he hit .288 (74x257) with 37 runs, 18 doubles, 1 triple, 7 home runs and 27 RBI in 76 games.
