SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Nick Margevicius, LHP, claimed off waivers from San Diego.
· Reggie McClain, RHP, designated for assignment.
Seattle’s Major League, 40-man, roster remains full at 40 players. Seattle has 7 days to trade, release or outright the contract of McClain to the minor leagues.
Margevicius (mahr-GAV-a-chiss), 23, was designated for assignment by San Diego on January 17. He started the season with San Diego and made his Major League debut March 30 vs.
