SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners President of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Kevin Padlo, INF, claimed off waivers from San Francisco.
· Drew Steckenrider, RHP, designated for assignment.
Seattle’s Major League, 40-man, roster remains full at 40 players.
Padlo, 25, will report to Triple-A Tacoma. This will mark his second stint in the Mariners organization, appearing in 41 games with the Rainiers between 2021–22 and 1 game with Seattle last season. Padlo appeared in 22 games with Triple-A Sacramento in the Giants organization and 4 games with San Francisco this season.
