The Seattle Mariners announced today from the MLB Winter Meetings the results of the Minor League phase of the Rule 5 Draft:
· Joseph Odom, C, selected from Atlanta in AAA Phase of the Rule 5 Draft.
· Tyler Baker, C, selected from Arizona in AAA Phase of the Rule 5 Draft.
· Lane Ratliff, LHP, selected by Arizona in AAA Phase of the Rule 5 Draft.
Odom, 25 (turns 26 on Jan. 9), combined to hit .266 (17x64) with 5 runs, 3 doubles, 1 home run and 8 RBI in 28 games between AA Mississippi and AAA Gwinnett in the Atlanta organization in 2017.
