SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Justin Hollander announced today the Mariners have acquired right-handed pitcher Eduard Bazardo from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for minor league right-handed pitcher Logan Rinehart.
Bazardo (buh-ZAR-doh), 27, will report to Triple-A Tacoma. He was designated for assignment by Baltimore on July 30. He made 3 relief appearances with the Orioles this season and in 27 games (one start) with Triple-A Norfolk this season is 4–1 with 2 saves and a 3.05 ERA (13 ER, 38.
